Highlights of Israel and Egypt

We take pleasure in presenting our 15 day Highlights Israel and Egypt Combination Tour. This tour operates on a guaranteed departure basis, including the best of the Christian, Jewish and Egyptian worlds all in one single tour!

This tour starts in Israel and ends in Egypt.

Upon arrival to airport meet our representative and transfer to hotel in Tel Aviv for an overnight.

Tel Aviv - Beersheba - Arad - Massada - Jerusalem
Leave Tel Aviv via Ashdod and Ashkelon to Beersheba, the capital of the Negev. Continue via Arad to Massada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress and visit the excavations, including Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, the bathhouse, and more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible “float” in the salty water of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Via Ein Gedi & Kalia, proceed to Jerusalem for overnight.

Jerusalem (New City) - Ein Karem
Drive to Mt. Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. Continue to Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, then a visit to the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem. Continue to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Afternoon visit to the Hadassah medical center’s synagogue, with Marc Chagall stained glass windows. Continue via Ein Karem, the birth place of John the Baptist to the hotel for overnight.

Jerusalem (Old City) - Bethlehem
Walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City. Visit the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall, the Temple area; the colorful bazaars; Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Beit Shean - Tiberias -Galilee
Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Drive through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Upper Galilee - Golan Heights - Nazareth
Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications, and the Druze villages. Visit the Banias, the source of the Jordan River. Proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of Kabbalah, Jewish Mysticism, to visit a synagogue and the artists’ colony. Then continue to Nazareth and visit the Christian Holy Sites. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Acre - Haifa -Tel Aviv
Drive west to Acre for a visit of the old, famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa. Sightseeing tour of Haifa, including the Baha'i Shrine, Persian Gardens on Mount Carmel and enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the bay. Proceed along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress. End the day with a short city tour of Jaffa (Joppa).
Overnight in Tel Aviv.

Arrival to Egypt
Pick up from your hotel in Tel Aviv transfer to Ben Gurion airport where you board your flight to Cairo Egypt. Upon arrival to Cairo meet our representative and transfer to hotel your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.

Cairo - Luxor
After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to the airport to take the flight to Luxor and you will be transferred to a 5 star Nile Cruise. Embark before lunch. Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight on the Boat.

Visit Luxor East and West Bank. Sail to Esna. We will cross the Lock and sail to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on the Boat.

Edfu - Kom Ombo
We will visit Edfu. Sail and visit the Kom Ombo. Continue to Aswan for dinner and overnight on the Boat.

Aswan Dam
Visit the High Dam and Temple of Phyla, riding "Feluca" (Sailing Boat) and pass by the botanical Garden.
Dinner and overnight in Aswan on the Boat.

After Breakfast, disembark the boat and enjoy a day at leisure at Aswan. Optional tour to Abu Simbel. Travel by a Sleeper Train to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast on the train.

Arriving Cairo and a full day tour of this magnificent city. Today you will visit Memphis and Sakkara, the capital of ancient Egypt. On to Giza to see the three Great Pyramids and the magnificent Sphinx, carved out of a single piece of stone, guarding the Giza plateau. Overnight in Cairo.

Cairo- Transfer to airport
After breakfast at the hotel, your full day tour that includes the Egypt museum covering 4000 years of ancient civilizations as well as the Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali and the Synagogue Ben Ezra. Enjoy old Oriental Khan El Khalili Bazaar in Old Cairo.
Transfer to the International airport in Cairo, where the tour ends.
