Sunday
After arriving atIsrael’s newBenGurionAirport, we are met by an IsraelExperts representative who will take us to our transfer. Transfer to the hotel
Overnight, Tel Aviv 

Monday
This morning we start with a visit to thePalmachMuseum(subject to confirmation) where we will enjoy an interactive display on the Palmach Movement. We continue toJaffato visit the quaint reconstructed artists’ quarter. We will then walk through the suburb of Neve Tzedek, where we will learn about the Birth of Tel Aviv and along the coast, past the fruit and vegetable Carmel Market to the arts and crafts fair at Nachlat Binyamin – a chance to buy a few gifts & souvenirs for home.
End the day at “A Better Place” and drive a proto type electric car.
Return to the hotel.

Tuesday
We continue our journey along the Coast visiting the port city of Caesarea where we will see the multi media presentation and learn about the history of Caesarea. (Optional: go scuba diving and explore the underwater archeological site) We then visit Akko. Here after a brief tour of this city, we will walk the underground streets and visit the Knights Hall, where members of the underground Jewish armies were executed during the pre-State British Mandate period. After a visit to the underwater grottos of Rosh Hanikra, we cross the Galilee to the Northern border with Lebanon and arrive to the Sea of Galilee and our Kibbutz Guest House or Tiberias Hotel.

Wednesday
Start the day with a visit of the mystical city ofSafed. Visit the local synagogues and the artists’ colony. Then continue to Kfar Blum for kayaking in the Chatzbani River (summer only). Tour the Golan with your guide,viewQuneitra fromMt.BenTaland climb the Syrian bunkers.(Optional: do the Golan heights tour with jeeps or by Tom Cars) End the day at the Shofar Factory.
Dinner and overnight, Sea of Galilee or Galilee 

Thursday
Wake up and board the bus with all the luggage as we depart the Sea of Galilee forJerusalem. We travel to Kfar Nachum, otherwise known asCapernaumto examine the beginnings of our daughter religion, Christianity and its ancient Jewish roots. Then we visit the Roman City of Bet Shean, with it’s amazing excavations. Continue to the Sachne for a swim in the natural springs (summer only). Arrival toJerusalemand time permitting visit the Machaneh Yehuda market.

Friday
Today is dedicated to the New City of Jerusalem starting with a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel’s official memorial to the Holocaust (entrance to the museum not for children under 11). While many Holocaust museums exist throughout the world, Yad Vashem is unique as it tries to deal with the question of the Holocaust and the establishment of the State and the relationship between the two. From Yad Vashem we proceed on to the Herzl Museum where we will learn about the life and vision of Herzl in an experiential way. On to Mt. Herzl and Israel’s national military cemetery where we will visit the grave of Herzl and other Israeli leaders and heroes and where we will learn about the price of statehood. We end the day re-enacting the paratroopers taking over Ammunition Hill, site dedicated to the reunification of Jerusalem.

We suggest your take this day off, so you have some rest prior to the rest of your tour.

Sunday
(if you prefer the BM on Massada, we can switch the program with Monday)
After an early breakfast we depart for the Dead Sea and Massada. (Optional: camel ride at Abraham’s Tent with Biblical Hospitality) We arrive at Massada, take the cable car and glide to the top of this historic mountain. As we ascend the mountain, we do so emulating the Zealots who came here 2,000 years ago. Their story is a dramatic one and teaches us a Jewish lesson for all time. Descend the mountain, and drive to Ein Gedi Spa for a Dead Sea float and mud “shmearing”. Return to the hotel
Overnight, Jerusalem 

Monday
BM ceremony (can be done in the Old City or on Massada)
From our hotel, we head for the Walls of the Old City, and join together to celebrate our Bnei Mitzvah at Robinson’s Arch in the Ophel Southern Excavations park. We proceed to the “City of David” and after visiting the site we hike Hezekiel’s Tunnel (water hike). A moment of prayer at the Kotel and continue with a walk through the Cardo. We end the day with the Ramparts Walk from where we can see the 4 quarters of the Old City within its walls - the Armenian Quarter, The Jewish Quarter, the Moslem Quarter, and the Christian Quarter. Tonight we take taxis (on our own) to the entrance of the Kotel Tunnels, where a local guide will take us for the famous Rabbinical tunnels tour. At the end of the tour, we take taxis back to the hotel (on our own)
Overnight, Jerusalem 

Tuesday
We begin the day by going to Rehovot for a visit to the Ayalon Institute, a secret arms factory hidden under a kibbutz. We then continue to Bet Guvrin where we will participate in an Archeological Dig for a Day (subject to confirmation by the site). Enter into underground caves and start the search of the past. After a tunnel crawl, an archeologist joins us to examine our finds and to share their importance.  The last stop today is the Latrun tank division Museum or we participate in the Dialogues in the Dark program at the Children’s Museum in Holon. Return to Jerusalem Hotel.

Transfer to the airport where you will board your return flight to the US.

Transfer to Tel Aviv Airport to board your domestic flight to Eilat.

Day at leisure OR join the optional “A taste of Petra” from Eilat
1 day tour toJordan: Leaves and returns to Eilat.
Guaranteed Daily departure, minimum 2 passengers

Pick up early in the morning from your hotel and enterJordanat the Yitzhak Rabin (Arava) border crossing. After ending all border formalities, we drive up to the “Desert Highway” and then to the “RedRoseCity” –Petra. We enter the ancient city through the famous “Siq” – a narrow natural gorge. At once thevalleyofPetraopens in front of us, and we see the famous “Khazane” (Treasury). We visit the most famous monuments, carved in red sandstone, before heading back to our bus. After a short city tour in Aqaba, we reach the Arava border and return to Eilat.

Take a taxi to Eilat airport (on your own) and board your 45 minutes flight to Tel Aviv
Transfer to your Tel Aviv Hotel
Overnight, Tel Aviv

Saturday
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport to board your late PM return flight to the US.

Wednesday
NEGEV – TIMNA – EILAT
Travel South to Israel’s “new frontier”, the Negev. A major effort is being made by the Jewish people to increase the Jewish inhabitants in this area. Visit the IDF Air Force Museum in Beer Sheva, the capital of the Negev. See an impressive display of all the airplanes and equipment used by the Air Force. Continue to David Ben Gurion’s grave at Sde Boker, overlooking the Wilderness of Zin. Visit Ben Gurion’s hut. At the Ramon crater, a geological wonder and arrive to Eilat. Say farewell to the guide.
